Achievements

• 11 Self Help Groups become self-sustain in term of record keeping, loaning and initiating income generation activities.
• 65 PRI members and CBO members were trained with their role and responsibility to ensure good governance in PRI.
• Systematic organizational development (OD) process is initiated with ASK, New Delhi under which perspective plan, mission and vision has been revisited according to the context analysis, HR and Finance Policy is drafted with participatory process.

10 Village of 6 panchayat of 2 block Barmer & Shrinagar.

• Total families :3997 HH (20787 population)
• Direct Targeted families : 8882 HH
• Target Group : SC/ST/OBC families, women and all excluded groups.

Case Study

Social Audit Meet of NREGA
Organized in September in two GP of Bhudol & Godiawas. Number of total participants who attended these meetings were more than 100. This was first time when the meeting held properly and all departments and PRI presented their reports. The problems and gaps regarding implementation of NREGA & other schemes were presented in form of proposals by the CBO members and was noted in the minutes register by the secretary. They also proposed to reformulate the Social Audit Forum which is now in dormant level. The issue of Vigilance Committees was also raised and assurance was given that vigilence committees will be activated from the Jan. 2010 when NREGA starts.
