Disha-RCDSSS is the social service wing of the Catholic Diocese of Ajmer. It is mandated by the Catholic hierarchy to work for the poor, marginalized and socially excluded sectors of the society regardless of caste, belief, race, social status and political affiliation. It is registered as a voluntary organization under the Rajasthan Society Registration Act 1958 on 24th of April 1993.
Prior to its registration, the organization has already been working in the most remote communities in different districts of Rajasthan for over 17 years now. Since then, the organization has been doing different humanitarian and development works in six developing and backward districts of the state of Rajasthan particularly in Ajmer, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Kota, Rajsamand and Bhilwara.
DISHA-RCDSSS works for the development of the marginalized communities to realize their rights and making them self-reliant through Livelihood promotion, Women Empowerment, Education and Health Care.
