DISHA is a voluntary organisation with a vision to create a just society of unity, brotherhood brotherhood love and prosperity.

Founded in 1993, for nearly two decades DISHA is assiduously working for the betterment of lives of rural disadvantaged communities in a very challenging area like Rajasthan. It has several achievements to its credit.

DISHA feels that an organisation must have an active and resourceful citizen base for making a difference. For creating this citizen base, the role of volunteerism is vital.

Anyone can volunteer for DISHA. It is indeed immaterial if a prospective volunteer is a student, a teacher, a professional, a social scientist, or a home-makers. What matters is the presence of the spirit of volunteerism in the person.
